Reference material for Product Mirroring Wizard. If you are setting the app up for the first time, start with the tutorial instead: it gets you from install to a working rule, and these pages assume you have done that.
Short questions are usually answered faster on the FAQ.
- Parent rules and child products How a rule is made, how children are attached, and the relationships the app refuses to create.
- Sync configs and field selection Named sets of field choices, what each field copies, what is on by default, and what is never written.
- Media and metafields How image mirroring replaces a child's images, which media types are left alone, and how metafield namespaces narrow what is copied.
- When mirroring runs The three ways a sync starts, what happens in what order, and why editing a child never travels back up.
- Mirroring recommendations How the app spots groups of duplicate looking listings and turns one into a rule.
- The product page menu The Product Sync Rule item the app adds to a product's More actions menu, and where each product takes you.
- The dashboard and sync history The counts, search, filters and bulk actions on the dashboard, and the two places sync results are recorded.
- Limits, conflicts and errors What the app refuses to do, what it does when a write fails, and the ceilings worth knowing about.
