Privacy policy

Ioun Developers is operated by Metal Weave Games Inc, which is the party responsible for this website and the apps described on it.

This policy covers ioun.dev, the website. It does not cover the apps that Ioun Developers builds. Each app has a privacy policy of its own, because each app handles different data on a merchant’s behalf. Those are listed at the end of this page and linked from each app’s own pages.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly.

  • There are no cookies. The site does not set one.
  • There is no analytics script, no tag manager, and no third party script of any kind.
  • There are no fonts, images or stylesheets loaded from another company’s servers.
  • There are no forms. The only way to contact us from this site is an email link.

The one thing stored in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, kept in this site’s own local storage on your device. It is never sent anywhere, it is readable only by this site, and clearing your browser data removes it.

What the host records

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, it processes the technical information a request necessarily carries, including the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser’s user agent string, in order to serve the page and to protect the service from abuse. We do not use that data to build a picture of anybody, and we do not combine it with anything else.

Buttons pointing at the Shopify App Store carry campaign parameters in the URL, of the utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and utm_content kind. They tell us which page on this site a visit to a listing came from. They contain no information about you: the same parameters appear for everyone who clicks the same button.

Once you are on a Shopify page, Shopify’s own privacy policy applies, and we have no part in it.

Email

If you write to us, we keep the email so we can answer it and so we have a record of what was agreed. We do not add you to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

Your rights

There is very little here to exercise a right over, but you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@ioun.dev and we will answer.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. This page is always the current version.
