Portal pages are served with stricter transport and framing headers. The page you land on after installing no longer 404s in some cases.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Published on the Shopify App Store

First public release.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Managed billing, and linked stores on Growth

Billing moved to Shopify's own plan picker. Plans are chosen and cancelled in Shopify, and the app reads the result rather than creating subscriptions itself. Connecting two stores now requires the Growth plan or higher on both stores, with no per-store fee and nothing metered. If either store drops below Growth the link is paused rather than deleted, royalties keep being recorded, and everything resumes when both are back on Growth. CSV exports download in place instead of throwing you out of the Shopify admin. Links in billing screens and emails keep you inside the Shopify admin.

Royalty Payouts Paladin More than one batch per period

A payout period can now hold several batches over its life. Royalties that accrue after a batch was cut, and refunds recorded after a period was paid, form a later batch instead of being stranded unbatched. Pay out current period early is available on every store, not just development stores, with a confirmation explaining what paying early costs you.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Rate versioning and clearer payout actions

Changing a live rule's rate now creates a new version with its own effective dates. The old rate stays attached to the earnings it produced, and the two versions never overlap. The Payouts page's main button follows the state of your batches, and every confirmation says what will actually happen. The agreement editor's next step became the header's primary action.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Historical pull diagnostics

A historical order pull that fails to start now says why, including Shopify's own reason. Development stores can batch the current payout period.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Deductions, reports and shared agreements

Shipping deductions are prorated across an order by weight rather than by price. Digital items are skipped entirely, and orders with no weights fall back to the previous behaviour. New Deduct unit cost deduction, using Shopify's cost per item, with an explanation on every deduction toggle. New agreements deduct discounts by default. Shared agreements moved under the Agreements page, with per-agreement payout routing: the parent store aggregates and pays, or the linked store pays its own creators. Reports gained a store filter and a merged-SKU product dimension. A searchable creator picker with inline quick-create. Agreements with no financial footprint can now be deleted outright. The creator portal's earnings pages were reworked around the balance.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Recorded payments and portal sharing

A guided Record payment flow on the Payouts page, with cross-filtering creator and agreement pickers and a preview of what is owed. Creators can share read-only access to their own earnings with a manager or accountant, and set up scheduled reports. The creator portal gained sidebar navigation, Agreements and Settings pages, and a verified email-change flow. The statement of account shows the current year expanded and prior years collapsed with totals, and counts entries that a carve out made ineligible. Free-text search on the Agreements page.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Portal domains, aggregate reports and historical pull

Historical order pull: replay a deal's own order history back through the calculator so its full earnings land in the ledger. Aggregate reporting by rule, reports inside the creator portal, and a CSV toggle on the ledger. The creator portal can be served from your own subdomain on the Pro plan. Excluded order tags gained pattern rules: exact, starts with, or contains. Preview the portal as one of your creators, from their page in the admin. The rules list shows which rate is actually accruing, and from when.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Order criteria and first-class pages

Order criteria: restrict a rule to or away from B2B orders and to a list of countries, at store, agreement or rule level. Agreements and Products became first-class pages in the navigation. The product query builder gained a product-type condition and an includes or excludes qualifier. Free-text search on the creators list.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Cross-store attribution

Reports break earnings down by the store the sale came from.

Royalty Payouts Paladin The agreement editor

Royalty rules are now grouped in an agreement-centric editor, with draft and publish, baseline recipients inherited by every rule, and collapsible sections for paused, archived and draft rules. Four plan tiers with a creators limit. PayPal payouts, the creator portal and email reports are gated by plan. Linked stores: generate a pairing code on one store and redeem it on another. Creators can be archived, unless they are on an active agreement. A Reports page: earned by creator, agreement and product across periods. Data cleanup: find historical order lines whose product version no longer exists, and review the ranked candidates one at a time before anything is credited. Refunds now register against the correct Shopify webhook, so they reverse royalties as intended.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Agreements, statements and manual settlement

Agreements: group royalty rules under a named deal. A statement of account per period, shown identically in the admin, the portal and by email. Excluded order tags, so crowdfunding fulfilment orders accrue nothing. Manual settlement: payout methods per creator, mark a line as paid, and recorded payments for money paid outside the app. Layered rules now credit every rule covering a product, not just one of them. Product thumbnails, By Product filters, and a selected-products panel.

Royalty Payouts Paladin The creator portal

A creator portal with magic-link sign-in, and explicit invitation emails. Shared advance pools: one advance recouped jointly across several rules. Payouts send in the background, with a guard against a double submission sending twice. Rejected payout batches can be released or re-approved instead of being stranded. Creator email addresses became optional.

Royalty Payouts Paladin Per-store PayPal and dynamic product selection

PayPal credentials are stored per store, encrypted, and managed in Settings, so payouts always move from your own account. Dynamic product selectors: a rule can pick its products by vendor, tag or type and keep itself up to date. Free-form creator tags, with filtering on the list. Emails go out under your store's name with your address for replies.

Royalty Payouts Paladin First working release

The royalty ledger, the payout batch pipeline, and per-creator earnings pages. Scheduled monthly creator statement emails. Product titles recorded on ledger rows, and CSV export of the ledger. Correctness work on the royalty engine: idempotent accrual, the recoup rate split, and refund reversal. PayPal reconciliation, retries and crash-safe sending, so a line is only marked paid when PayPal confirms it.
